ABBY GREWCOCK

I create bespoke costumes that are dynamic, provocative a visual sensation. Specialising in contemporary circus, I have worked globally for independent artists and larger clients to create costumes that are brought to life through the physical language of the body. They can be seen in theatre productions, contemporary dance, opening ceremonies, and corporate events including  product promotions, building and car launches.



My costumes are often designed for disciplines performed in high stress environments: harness work, stilts, rope and silks combined with water, fire and pyrotechnics, both indoors and out.



With 20 years of experience I have a practical approach and  I am able to produce quick solutions with original styling. I am happy to work at any stage of the design process, providing tantalising concept drawings through to finished creations for your latest acts. You can also hire me as an Art Director if you have a larger scale production that requires a singular vision with unique creativity.
